As the first Minnesotan creamery to exclusively have A2 cows, this family farm (with 10 kids!) needed to establish their brand. With Kick’s help, Ten Finns was born. Kick named the creamery and developed a distinctive identity system, taking inspiration from the family’s Finnish heritage.
It was important to clearly distinguish what was so special about Ten Finns, and the differences between A1 and A2 creameries. Everything we created helped educate consumers in Ten Finns’ fun, family-friendly style. Most important, the branding helped grow the creamery’s product line, distribution, and preference among dairy lovers.
WHAT ARE A2/A2 COWS?
Most dairy cows have evolved to produce milk containing A1 proteins in addition to the original A2 proteins. The A1 protein is often the cause of digestive discomfort in many milk drinkers.
Since Ten Finns’ launch, they’ve added to their product line with butter, small-sized milk cartons and more in the works.
Inspiration from the family’s heritage comes through in the brand’s graphic style and repeated patterns that evoke Finnish folk art.
